Holy crap—Matchstick Productions just dropped the wildest trailer for its 2016 release ‘Ruin and Rose’

Skiers, rejoice.

Matchstick Productions (MSP) just released the trailer for its highly-anticipated 2016 film Ruin and Rose, and holy crap is it good. From Alaska to Austria to British Columbia to Bulgaria to California to France to Switzerland to Namibia (yeah, they went sand-skiing in freaking Namibia), the new film covers just about every corner of the globe through absolutely stunning footage and storytelling, and we cannot wait to see it in its entirety.

On top of the nuts list of locations, Ruin and Rose features a stacked list of big names, too—MSP veterans and rookies alike. They include: Mark Abma, Sammy Carlson (his first MSP appearance since Seven Sunny Days in 2007), Markus Eder, Zack Giffin, Sander Hadley, Russ Henshaw, Eric Hjorleifson, Lukas Joas, Sean Jordan, Bene Mayr, Evan McEachran, Michelle Parker, Ole Pavel, Tanner Rainville, Austin Ross, Fabio Studer, Cody Townsend, Noah Wallace and more. Phew, that’s a mouthful.

“This was an incredible winter for [our] film crews and we were lucky to explore a lot of new places and try new things, from jibbing Communist ruins in Bulgaria to camping on a glacier in Alaska for three weeks,” says MSP’s Michael “Hansee” Hans. “We’ve got hours of incredible footage to work with this year, courtesy of an extraordinarily talented team of cinematographers and an equally amazing group of skiers.”

Ruin and Rose will be premiering in cities all over the world this fall, so see below for a stop near you and watch this trailer 1,000 times while you wait.
