Henrik Harlaut releases trailer for upcoming doc, “The Regiment”

Henrik Harlaut, the most prolific guy in skiing, just released a trailer for his two-year film project, “The Regiment,” and, needless to say, it looks f*cking awesome. Harlaut’s unique approach to skiing has everyone from contest organizers to the sport’s top filmmakers stirring, and the FREESKIER crew is right with the lot of ’em. The film premiered in old school style at the High Fives Festival this past weekend, but the teaser is just now being released to the public. Filmed in collaboration with longtime moviemakers Stept Productions, this 22-minute short film will be an absolute must-watch when it releases next week on October 16th.

In the words of Harlaut’s camp, “The Regiment is a two year film project from professional freestyle skier Henrik Harlaut. Today, Henrik is one of the only skiers to compete at the highest level while also filming some of the most influential video parts of the past decade. We see Henrik go from filming urban three hours before a flight to X Games to skiing spines in Alaska and for the first time we get an insight to what makes Henrik tick, as he shares the motivations and inspirations that allow him to be one of the best freeskiers today.”
