[Freeride World Tour] “Mic’d Up” gives you the inside scoop

From the outside, the Freeride World Tour is a well oiled machine that spotlessly presents some of the best skiing in the world. There may be delays, and plenty of tumbles, but it seems to run very well. Things get a little more hectic, however, when you’re in the life of a competitor. “Mic’d Up” gives us outsiders the opportunity to look inside the routines of the riders that lay it all on the line for the champagne glory. We start with Elisabeth Gerritzen in Andorra, handing it off to Carl Regnér in Fieberbrunn, Austria, and closing with Hedvig Wessel as the pressure mounts in Verbier at the Bec des Rosses. While they may pull off immortal-like stunts, they are just passionate, fun loving people at the end of the day. Take a look at how they live this wild life of travel and skiing. While it may be taxing, both mentally and physically, they keep it together pretty damn well, and make it very entertaining to check out.
