For some skiers, gray skies mean it’s time to head home. For others, a flat landing usually means, “This hit ain’t for me.” Both of these philosophies have their merits… but not when it comes to Ross Tester. The Freeride World Tour (FWT) 2021 Rookie of the Year has garnered much love in the ski world thanks to his ability to drop huge sh*t and make it look silky smooth. Flat landings? Never heard of her. Everything’s an LZ for this guy. Take a few minutes to enjoy this quick edit of GoPro and iPhone footage as Ross Tester makes quick work of his local hill, Snowbird, Utah. It’s inspiring, frightening and exciting all in one. While he officially left the FWT and comp scene this season, we hope that only means we’ll get to see more film projects from Tester in the future.
