Faction calls it “a journey to find what makes us skiers.” To uncover those secrets, the ski manufacturer’s new film, This Is Home, follows its athletes to their homes around the globe, providing insights as to “how they get it done on home turf.”
The trailer just launched this morning, September 5, and Faction says about the film, “From Europe to the US and back again—via old playgrounds, new challenges and favorite lines—This Is Home chronicles what it means to be a freeskier today: where the conditions are what you make of them, and the search for that perfect ride starts in your own backyard.”
The film stars Duncan Adams, Sam Anthamatten, Johnny Collinson, Adam Delorme, Mathilde Gremaud, Alex Hall, Daniel Hanka, Tim McChesney, Antti Ollila, Arnaud Rougier, Eirik Sæterøy, Pablo Schweizer, Kelly & Henry Sildaru, Giulia Tanno and Candide Thovex.
Shot on location in: Flathead Valley MT, USA; Jyväskylä, Finland; Kuopio, Finland; Alta, UT, USA; Wasatch Mountains, UT, USA; Deštné v Orlických horách, Czech Republic; Zermatt, Switzerland; La Clusaz, France; Verbier, Switzerland.
The company will bring its film on tour this fall to big cities and tiny ones, to resorts, universities, ski clubs, bars… everywhere.
