I love Eric Pollard. I’m not afraid to admit it. It’s difficult to avoid fanboying out whenever he releases a new edit, a new ski design or is gracious enough with his time to allow me an interview. He’s been a favorite skier of mine since the early 2000s, well into his days with Nimbus Independent and now, as he’s transitioned into more of a product development role with companies like Line and Dakine.

His short film, Drawn From Here, stays true to the artistic spirit of Pollard, while letting skiers the world over behind the scenes of the past few years of his life, years filled with ups and downs. I think I speak for the whole world when I say I’m glad that he made it through the leg injury suffered in Russia alright.
