As temperatures spike in North America, the Southern Hemisphere winter is just beginning to rock and roll. This week, a collection of skiing’s most elite athletes, including: James Woods, Keri Herman, the Wells brothers and more are “down under” prepping for The North Face Freeski Open at Cardrona Alpine Resort in Wanaka New Zealand. The event kicks off on Friday, August 7 with men’s and women’s slopestyle qualifications. Slopestyle finals will occur on Saturday, August 8, and halfpipe qualifications and finals will go down on Sunday, August 9.
