Making a ski film isn’t as easy as it may seem to the common viewer. Truth is, it takes a lot of time, money and effort to make that dream happen, which can lead to some hesitancy. But when the passion for skiing and the camaraderie between good friends outweighs those concerns, anything is possible.

That’s the kind of positivity that led to By Us For You, a film debuting this fall created (and mostly self-funded) by skiers Lupe Hagearty, Keegan Kilbride and Kirk Scully, and filmer/photographer Evan Lai-Hipp. The film will also feature skiing from a ton of the creators’ closest friends: Dylan Sondrup, Pat Goodnough, Calvin Barrett, Chase Mohrman, Cole Derrick, Jaeden Schneider-Clark, Tosh Peters, John Michael, Mark Spinney, Mike King and Cottie Gorham.
