If you thought Bobby Brown was just a park skier, think again.
The four-time X Games gold medalist just released the trailer for his upcoming short film Be Water, produced by Stept Productions, and not a single shot takes place in-bounds. Massive backcountry booters? Yes. Huge cliff drops into powder? Hell yeah. Rails? Nope. Nada. Zero. Zilch.
That’s not to say that we’re against the park—hell, if Bobby never skied a rail again the world would be missing out—but it’s certainly nice to see another side of this incredibly well-rounded skier.
This isn’t the first time Stept and Bobby have combined forces. In 2015 the Colorado native worked with Stept to release Ballistic, a park edit filled start to finish with absolute bangers. We’re glad to see this dynamic partnership continue to release awesome content.
But enough talk. We’ll let the trailer speak for itself. Enjoy and join the rest of us in eagerly awaiting the release of Be Water on October 18.
US Olympian, Bobby Brown, is know for his success in ski competition, but over the past year we got to watch his dedication to a different aspect of the sport. His film project, "Be Water", features Bobby pushing the limits of backcountry jumping to new levels. We are excited to release the trailer tomorrow, and even more pumped to get out there again with Bob this winter! @bobby_brown1
