Time and time again Banks Gilberti has proven that he is one of the most purely talented freeskiers (and snowboarders) in the business. This season, the Idaho-native left Summit County, Colorado to return to his home in Sun Valley, ID, to get back to his roots of soul shredding with good friends. The latest installment of Gilberti’s entertaining Adventures In Transition series bleeds the sport of freeskiing at its core.
“No big-budget trips to Alaska were had in this episode,” says Gilberti about the latest episode titled, Home on the Range. “Instead, just some old fashion laps on the chair with a few good friends at the home mountain. There’s nothing like skiing your own backyard in the spring snow, maybe an aprés beer or a few to top it off. From the town to the slopes, some of the best days of the season were had making this episode.”
Watch Banks, Torin Yater-Wallace, Ross Falcone, Collin Collins and Colter Brehmer get extremely creative on the hill. Also, be sure to take the advice of the AIT crew: “Keep your damn tips up and send it for God’s sake!”
