Stevens Pass ski patroller Chris Brixey narrates this short clip, which highlights avalanche control work (by heli) on the backside of the ski area. With more than 10 feet of snow piled up in a 10-day stretch, the time was ripe for patrol to step in. These clips were captured on February 26; the edit provides a great behind the scenes look at the avy control process, and—as Stevens Pass notes on its YouTube page—stunning video of a “massive slide in all its terrible glory.”
