88-year-old legend rips Mt. Norquay in latest episode from Sherpas Cinema’s “Sculpted in Time”

Next up in Sherpas Cinema’s film series Sculpted in Time is episode three, The Wise Man. The third installment features an 88-year-old local named Eddie Hunter and his deep rooted connection with the Mt. Norquay in Banff National Park. “Born in 1926, the same year Mt. Norquay was established, Eddie has been skiing Banff’s first ski resort for over 80 years. Eddie escorts the viewer through Norquay’s past and present, sharing the impact the mountains have had in his life and which he proudly passes onto his children,” writes SkiBig3 via its YouTube page. Enjoy the 5-minute video as Hunter takes viewers on a tour of his age old mountain.

Want to shred Banff this season? Don’t miss out—the National Park’s “Big 3” resorts (Mt. Norquay, Lake Louise and Sunshine Village) are now included on the 2014-15 Mountain Collective Ski Pass. For just $399, get fourteen days of skiing at some of North America’s best ski resorts.
