Jackson Hole is spicing things up this spring with the introduction of its March Radness campaign. Throughout the month, JHMR is hosting epic parties and of course, some of the best skiing in North America. Next weekend (March 19-22), as a part of the monthlong musical celebration, the resort presents its second annual Jackson Hole Rendezvous Festival, bringing a handful of nationally-acclaimed artists and bands to Wyoming for a plethora of free concerts across multiple stages at the mountain.
The four-day festival will feature Michael Franti and Spearhead as well as Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys and more.
“The entire weekend of fun and free concerts amidst top-notch spring skiing in Jackson Hole is the perfect way to top off another successful year of skiing in the Tetons,” notes Brand Director Anna Olson. “It’s great to see how our strong base has persisted this spring. This month, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) kicked off the spring ski season by rolling out a month-long schedule of events world class entertainment with 31 bands over 31 days known as ‘March Radness’. Next weekend, JHMR presents the 2nd Annual Jackson Hole Rendezvous Festival, bringing nationally-acclaimed artists for free shows on multiple stages at the mountain and in iconic downtown Jackson from March 19-22, 2015.
Jackson Hole Rendezvous, the four-day spring lifestyle and music festival, is gaining in notoriety and numbers and promoters are stacking Saturday night’s headliner, Michael Franti and Spearhead, earlier than previous years officially opening up at 5:00 pm. Franti will take the stage at 6:30 pm followed by Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys. At the essence of Mike’s approach to performance and music is the desire to move people to feel and communicate through the universal language of music. The night of partying in the parking lot in front of the tram will be topped by the annual fireworks display celebrating another great year of skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Rendezvous-goers will enjoy legendary singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen Friday night with an unprecedented performance on the historic downtown square in the Town of Jackson.
