The qualifying rounds for the 2015 Dumont Cup went down at Sunday River today. Seventy-four “amateur” athletes battled it out in Sunday River’s T-72 terrain park for just 20 spots in tomorrow’s (3/28) semifinals. Of the 20 competitors in the semis, just 12 will move on to compete against the big dogs in the finals, taking place Saturday afternoon. The “amateurs” will duke it out against pros, including: Bobby Brown, Joss Christensen, Alex Schlopy, Russ Henshaw, James Woods, Matt Walker, Evan McEachran, Alex Bellemare and Chris Laker for a chance at the 2015 title and $20,000.
