Here’s everything you need to know about the Mammoth Sprint U.S. Grand Prix

US Grand Prix, Mammoth Mountain

The Sprint U.S. Grand Prix continues with its second stop at Mammoth Mountain, California on February 4 – 7. Celebrating its tenth year of hosting Grand Prix contests, Mammoth is rockin’, rollin’ and ready to host the highly anticipated event in the 2015 season.

The men’s Olympic slopestyle studs, Joss Christensen, Gus Kenworthy, and Nick Geopper, will be in attendance, looking to add another notch to their collection in the slopestyle comp.

The Mammoth Grand Prix will also serve as a platinum-level Association of Freeskiing Professionals (AFP) event. Halfpipe and slopestyle freeskiing and will all be broadcasted on NBC and NBCSN along with live streaming of the finals on NBC Sports LiveExtra.

Event Schedule:

  • Wednesday, February 4: Freeskiing halfpipe qualifier — 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST
  • Thursday, February 5: Freeskiing slopestyle qualifier — 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST
  • Friday, February 6: Freeskiing halfpipe finals — 7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. EST
  • Friday, February 6: Autograph signing with Maddie Bowman — 12:00-1:00 p.m. EST
  • Saturday, February 7: Freeskiing slopestyle finals — 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. EST

Broadcast Schedule:

Finals will be live streamed on NBC Sports LiveExtra.

Live Streaming:

  • February 6: 1:00 – 6:30 p.m. — Freeskiing halfpipe slopestyle
  • February 7: 1:00 – 6:30 p.m. — Freeskiing slopestyle

Television:

  • NBCSN — February 7: 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. —Freeskiing halfpipe
  • NBCSN — February 8: 6:00-7:00 p.m. — Freeskiing slopestyle

As we approach the third major contest of the season, don’t forget to update your Fantasy Freeride roster. For those who may have missed the sign up this season, there’s still plenty of incentive to sign up today.

The participant with the highest point total each week will win a pair of 2015 anon. Relapse goggles. The Relapse features a low profile frame with an ultra-wide field of vision. Additionally, it’s thinner designed face foams helps to create a close-to-the-face fit to further enhance peripheral vision.

As if that wasn’t enough, the overall top scorer at the end of the FFL season will take home a $1,000 shopping spree to Slope Style ski shop in Breckenridge. Let’s get trading!
