Sean Jordan and Big Boulder Ski Area are proud to announce the second annual Sean Jordan Open (SJO) to be held Saturday March 7, 2015 in the Jack Frost Big Boulder terrain park in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania. Sean J’s slopestyle contest is one of just a few true open format competitions on the east coast for up-and-coming freeskiers.
This year, there will be a $10,000 prize purse and the winner will walk away with $5,000. Additionally there will be a women’s event and a grom (13-15 years old) category, so all athletes are encouraged to enter.
The entry fee for the open and female category is $40.00 (16+), $25.00 for groms (13-15 years old). On top of competition fees, participant’s entry will include a BBQ style lunch. A discounted snow pass will also be offered to all competitors at a price of just $35.00. Online registration is now open, and space is limited to 75 skiers.
