January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month, and while the month is almost over, there’s still time to go out there and get a great deal on first time lessons at a number of participating resorts around the country. Here are a few ways that you can learn how to ski before January is over:
Liberty Mountain Resort
Liberty Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania offers a $90 package each Wednesday night in January that provides one night of lodging, breakfast, a lift ticket, rental equipment and a beginner lesson.
Beech Mountain
North Carolina’s Beech Mountain is offering a $101 package that includes a beginner lesson, equipment rentals, and one night of lodging for skiers ages 8 and up.
Cataloochee
Cataloochee Ski Area in North Carolina is offering a two day package that includes two nights of lodging, two days of lessons, lift tickets, and equipment rentals. Cataloochee even threw in a $10 gas card per participant to save on travel costs.
Discover Michigan
In partnership with McDonald’s, Michigan is offering $20 – $40 lift, lesson, and equipment rental packages throughout the month. Additional coupons can be found at participating Michigan McDonald’s.
Ski New Mexico
Ski New Mexico is offering a $30 lift, lesson and rental equipment package for first time skiers ages 6 – 12, for eight different New Mexico resorts. More information at SkiNewMexico.com.
Ski Utah
All Utah ski resort participate in Ski and Snowboard Month. More information can be found at skiandsnowboardmonth.org.
Ski Vermont
SkiVermont.com is offering lift, lesson, and equipment rental programs for beginners for $29. More information on participating resorts is posted at SkiVermont.com.
