Delicious beers and live music; Big Sky hosts its tenth annual brewfest

Beer, music and activities for all. Big Sky, Montana will be holding its tenth annual Brewfest on Saturday, July 11, 2015. The event is one of Montana’s largest beer festivals with over 35 craft breweries in attendance.

“The Brewfest is a great way to try new beers, talk to the brewers, and enjoy being outside in the mountains,” said Brandon Bang, Sales and Marketing Director for Big Sky Resort.

    Confirmed breweries attending Brewfest (with more to be announced) are:

  • North Slope Brewing Company (Pennsylvania)
  • Elysian Brewing Company (Washington)
  • New Belgium Brewery (Colorado)
  • Stone Brewing Company (California)
  • River Brewing Company (Belgrade)
  • Lone Peak Brewery (Big Sky)
  • Lewis and Clark Brewery (Helena)
  • Big Sky Brewing (Missoula)
  • UberBrew Brewing Company (Billings)
  • Outlaw Brewing (Bozeman)
  • Draught Works Brewery (Missoula)

Tickets are available online starting June 15, 2015 at www.bigskyresort.com/brewfest.

The event will take place at the base of Swift Current chairlift with Lone Peak in the background. With the great music, activities, and games for all, Big Sky Brewfest has really become a family fun day or weekend getaway.

Big Sky Resort’s Brewfest pours into their tenth year of serving up the suds on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in one of Montana’s largest brewfests. Lone Peak is the backdrop for more than 35 Breweries showcasing western and regional microbrews, national beers, live music, and kid’s activities.

Two beer garden tents will be set up near the base of Swift Current chair lift in the Mountain Village area. Live outdoor music will be performed by Good Time Travelers with their soul-folk music style and more bands to be announced closer to the event date.

“The Brewfest is a great way to try new beers, talk to the brewers, and enjoy being outside in the mountains,” said Brandon Bang, Sales and Marketing Director for Big Sky Resort. “With the live music and the kid’s activities of a bouncy house, face painting, and games, our Brewfest has really become a family fun day or weekend getaway.”

The Brewfest is open to all ages and will take place rain or shine. Guests must be 21 and over to enter the beer garden pavilion areas and tasting fee is $25.00 which includes 10 tasting tokens and a souvenir tasting glass. Additional tasting tokens are $1.00 each.

Delicious bbq bratwurst, spectacular Montana Wagyu Cattle Company brisket, and a burger bar will all be available for purchase.
