Chris Benchetler will represent CMH Heli-Skiing as an ambassador for the 2015-16 season. Benchetler, who calls Mammoth, CA home, will accompany the CMH group at the CMH Cariboos lodge from December 17-22, 2015. He joins 2015-16 ambassadors Chris Davenport, Julia Mancuso and snowboarder Torah Bright, who will be embarking on their own CMH trips during the season.

Banff, AB – Oct 21, 2015: CMH announced today that big mountain skier, Chris Benchetler, will join CMH Heli-Skiing as trip ambassador at CMH Cariboos, December 17-22, 2015.
The California-based skier, who is a fixture in ski films and boasts his own pro model ski with Atomic, “The Bent Chetler,” will experience the deliciously deep mountains of B.C.’s Cariboo region alongside CMH guests during a heli-ski trip to the remote backcountry lodge.
The newly minted ambassador rounds out the impressive roster of world class athletes who will join CMH Heli-Skiing for intimate ski and snowboard experiences at four CMH lodges this season. This season’s CMH trip ambassadors include ski legend Chris Davenport, Australia’s most decorated female snowboarder Torah Bright, and Olympic gold medalist Julia Mancuso, who will be hosting their own trips throughout the upcoming season respectively.

Benchetler, who was named one of Ski Magazine’s 2010 skiers of the year, is a former slopestyle competitor who travels the world skiing in front of a camera for his own co-owned production company Nimbus Entertainment. He has also been featured in films with TGR, Sweet Grass Productions, Warren Miller and MSP.

The former alpine racer and two-time extreme skiing World Champion, Davenport has been called one of North America’s top 25 skiers by Skiing Magazine. He is considered one of the world’s most accomplished big mountain skiers today and in 2007 became the first person to ski all 54 of Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks in less than a year.

Julia Mancuso is a World Cup alpine racer and Olympic medalist from Squaw Valley, California. Mancuso has taken home seven World Cup victories, five World Championship medals, and has received multiple podium finishes including gold in Giant Slalom in the 2006 Winter Olympics and silver in both Downhill and Combined in 2010.

This Australian-born Olympian has garnered countless achievements as one of snowboarding’s elite, taking home the gold medal at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games and silver at Sochi in 2014. Her list of accolades includes the 2007 TTR Women’s World Tour Champion, gold at the 2007 and 2009 Winter X Games, and Bright was named Female Action Sport Athlete of the Year at the 2010 ESPY Awards.
