Calling all ladies; Oakley announces the return of its Progression Session series

Good news for lady rippers across North America today. Oakley is happy to announce that it is bringing back its Progression Session series, a series of two-day ski (and snowboard) camps for hard-charging women looking to improve their game on the slopes this season. The brand currently has four camps scheduled throughout North America for its 2015 tour. The Oakley Progression Session camps will be led by professional coaches and Oakley athletes including Olympic bronze medalist Kim Lamarre, Kaya Turski, Sierra Quitiquit and Meagan Gunning.

“We’re so excited and proud to kick off our 5th year of the Oakley Progression Sessions series! What started out as a single event has turned into so much more,” said Oakley Women’s Brand Manager Jenny Earnshaw. “OPS is a sisterhood of driven women who share a passion for skiing, snowboarding and all things active. When you bring them all together for a weekend of progression with Oakley pro athletes, custom built terrain parks and immense amounts of fun.”

Locations:

  • March 14 – 15: Whistler Blackcomb, BC $350.00 w/o or $300 w/ season pass.
  • March 21 – 22: Mammoth Mountain, CA $290.00.
  • March 28 – 29: Loon Mountain, NH $215.00, $255.00 (includes two-day lift ticket).
  • April 4 – 5: Mont Tremblant, Quebec $299.00.

“For all of the OPS coaches, it’s really amazing getting to share our passion for riding with the women who attend the camps,” said OPS head coach Mary Walsh. “One of our most important goals is to help women to feel comfortable and confident when they’re riding in the park so that they can learn new things and have the most fun possible. Sometimes park riding can be intimidating and that’s why OPS exist: to break down barriers and show individuals what they are truly capable of doing. We emphasize the group learning environment to create this support in what is a very individual sport.”
