“I’m really stoked to be joining the Amplid Cartel team,” said Kevin. “I’ve been skiing for Amplid for a year now and I couldn’t be more impressed with the skis. I really like how Amplid involves its team in product development and values our feedback. Joining the Cartel will definitely motivate me to produce even better edits and take my riding to the next level. I’m really excited to see what the future brings.”

Press Release provides by Amplid:

Talented Finn Kevin Salonius is one of those skiers that makes things happen. He’s a whirlwind of creative skiing and movie production, and his abundant stoke for skiing is completely contagious. Since signing with Amplid 12 months ago Kevin has represented Amplid at Level 1’s Superunknown XI Finals, dropped countless mind-blowing edits and contributed priceless R&D feedback. As Kevin was already doing the job of a pro skier Amplid thought it was time to promote him to the Cartel.

“I’m really stoked to be joining the Amplid Cartel team,” said Kevin. “I’ve been skiing for Amplid for a year now and I couldn’t be more impressed with the skis! I really like how Amplid involves its team in product development and values our feedback. Joining the Cartel will definitely motivate me to produce even better edits and take my riding to the next level. I’m really excited to see what the future brings!”

Discovering talented riders and bringing them through the team ranks is something that Amplid is very proud of. Many big names have started their career with Amplid skis beneath their boots and team manager Rich Ewbank believes that Kevin is destined for similar success. He said:

“Kevin’s a spark plug; he’s a great example of how a good dose of natural ability, a distinctive skiing style and a lot of hard work can really make things happen. Kevin has all of the important ingredients that are needed to be successful, I’m excited that Amplid is able to help him further his career and follow his passion.”

Kevin’s plans for the coming winter include plenty of filming in and around Helsinki and a handful of trips a little further afield to broaden his skiing and filming horizons.
