Telluride to hold homecoming celebration for Olympic silver medalist Gus Kenworthy

Men’s Olympic slopestyle silver medalist Gus Kenworthy grew up in Telluride, Colorado, located in the San Juan Mountains in the southwest part of the state. On March 21, the town of Telluride will be throwing a welcome home celebration for Kenworthy. The event schedule is as follows:

5:30 p.m. – Parade
6:15 p.m. – Speeches and special dedication
6:30 p.m. – Meet and greet, poster signing
7:45 p.m. – Fireworks on Main Street
