Surf and Snow Sessions Global Travel (SASS), an action-sports-focused travel company based out of Rincón, Puerto Rico (founded in New Hampton, New Hampshire), is expanding its reach yet again with the recent addition of Chile to its list of worldwide trips. Argentina has been the company’s main summer stomping ground for the past 12 years, but Chile will add a whole new aspect of South American fun that adventure-seeking skiers should be totally psyched about. The staff is led by Head Guide Skylar Holgate, who has spent the past four seasons exploring Chilean terrain. An experienced collection of coaches are also on deck to help improve guests’ skills while making sure smiles are present the whole time. S.C. BARILOCHE, ARGENTINA – June 9th, 2016 — SASS Global Travel is excited to announce their first expansion into Chile, offering a new trip based in the heart of the Chilean Andes this September. After operating SASS Argentina for the past 12 seasons, SASS is taking their unique brand of next level experiences across the border. This step significantly broadens their existing operations that take advantage of the South American winter during the North American summer. SASS Chile grew out of years of ongoing exploration focused on unique locations and untouched terrain aimed to provide an unparalleled experience to the SASS clientele that has become accustomed to the customer service, education, all-star staff and camaraderie for which SASS is known.
SASS Chile will operate for one week from August 27th – September 2nd and is offered as both a stand-alone trip, or as the second week of a truly unreal experience tying together SASS Argentina with SASS Chile. Clients choosing the latter experience will head to Bariloche for Session 4 of SASS Argentina, then jump into a van and traverse the Andes for another week of exclusive snowmobile skiing and riding at SASS Chile.
SASS Chile is a premier backcountry snowmobile-accessed guided shred experience. The combination of terrain, equipment, lodging and culture is rare and unique to this zone and program. Combine that with an elite team of guides to create an unparalleled sled-skiing experience — not only showing you to the goods, but getting you there.
