Women’s Annual Cover Girl, Lynsey Dyer, stops by Freeskier for some girl talk.

Just passing through Boulder on her crazy travel schedule, Lynsey Dyer found time to come kick it at the Freeskier offices for some coffee and a chat… and maybe a little palm reading.

She’s been in Eurpoe on vacation and is heading home to Jackson Hole today to sort out the remaining summer travel season… New Zealand? Chile? Stay home? Tough choices!

We caught up a little bit, though, about her non-profit organization, SheJumps.org, and her plans for that. Lynsey, Vanessa and Claire, the founders of SheJumps are leading an canyoneering exhibition over Labor Day weekend with 10-15 women to do a 100-foot rappel, camp, and talk about the curriculum for SheJumps moving forward. The plan is to gather a core of Women leaders to lead outdoor adventures all over the country for girls of all ages to help instill confidence, leadership and a sense of both group and self.

“I’m such a camp counselor,” said Dyer. “I just want to get out there and help show women how amazing the outdoors is and how amazing each one of them is.”

Dyer has also been working a lot on her artwork and had a great showing at the Telluride art festival earlier this summer. She’s now in local Jackson coffee shops and working on a new series.

Our visit was cut short as her ride came to pick her up. She’s trying to get back to Jackson for a soccer rec game tonight. This girl never stops moving!
