Winter Park’s overall vibe is mellow in the parks and on the runs. They expand that attitude to the free urban terrain park: Ruby Hill Rail Yard, near Denver, CO. Ruby Hill is a result of the partnership between Denver Parks and Recreation, Christy Sports and Winter Park Resort. Winter Park provides the rails, terrain park design and staff ; Chirsty Sports provides free rental equipment; and Denver Parks and Recreation provides youth programs. Thirty volunteers and private donations also help make the terrain park possible.

The program’s philosophy is a belief that it is possible to expect the personal best from an individual in all aspects of life, whether that is the pursuit of athletic excellence, the quest of academic achievement, or the search for new personal horizons. Team Winter Park offers a forum where individuals can dedicate themselves to becoming more, both on and off the snow.
