Welches, Oregon (June 10, 2007) – Windells is proud to announce the addition of seven new concrete obstacles around the Windells Campus. Currently there are 5 separate parks at Windells including BOB (the 12,000 foot indoor training facility), a Dreamland Concrete Bowl, a vert ramp, mini ramps, street course, and the embedded skate features across the entire facility.
“Our goal is to build new stuff so the entire camp is a skatepark. We built the first seven features to show the direction we are taking with the Windells campus, says Tim Windell.
The new concrete features are spread throughout the camper housing area, and line up into a linkable line.
“Right now you can hit all seven features through The Courtyard, all the way down to the quarterpipe, then pump your way back up, says Tim Windell with gleam in his eye.
At Windells, there is excitement around every corner, from the campers’ rooms to the BMX track, the foam pit, a snack shack and mess hall, a tetherball area, paintball, horseshoes, an arcade/gameroom, trampolines and surprisingly, more. Windells takes pride in offering something for everyoneâ€â€all walking distance…or skating distance.
Windells has seven sessions running this summer, from June 6 through August 11, 2007. Some sessions are already filled but riders can call (800) 765-7675 to check for availability and visit windells.com for more details.
