Win these Recon & Luv ski boots from K2!

People told K2 they couldn’t do it; they told them that making a lightweight boot with both precision and power wouldn’t work. But the crew at K2 knew they could. So they hired a couple of really smart skiers, went back to the drawing board and built the best damn boot possible. A boot that’s since bucked convention and redefined industry standards. The result is the new Recon and Luv Collection—and we’re giving away two pairs of ’em to two lucky winners. In a week’s time, we’ll select one guy and one girl to each take home a pair of these ridiculously lightweight, unbelievably powerful ski boots. Enter your information below for your chance to win.

Now, a bit more about these all-new boots. Starting from the Powerlite shell–a proprietary blend of four different stiffnesses of TPU with optimized wall thicknesses–these two collections of boots set out to do the impossible: create a paradoxical balance of lightweight agility and power. And with a fully moldable shell, these boots can be anatomically tuned to your specific needs.

But the Recon and Luv Collections offer so much more than just a customizable, powerful chassis. These boots–offered in six flex options–offer the ultimate customizable feature set designed to provide the truest individual fit available. It all starts with the PrecisionFit Pro Ultralon Liner. With pre-molded ankle pockets and packed with fully heat-moldable Ultralon foam, the Recon and Luv boots provide an enveloping, comfortable fit.

And K2 didn’t stop there, because true fit and performance means more than JUST dropping in the most advanced liner. Take the Luv collection for example; offered in two different last widths (98mm and 100mm) these sleek freaks feature an easily adjustable calf height that can be dialed into your exact needs. Meanwhile, the Recons see a similar spread across the entire collection–each boot is offered in both 98mm and 100mm lasts in all flex ratings. But that’s not all; featuring a dimpled boot board, dual cuff alignment and an optional power wedge, skiers can dial in the stance of both collections to establish a unique fit–no matter what their needs might be. And oh yeah, did we mention these boots are light? Like ridiculously light. The Recon 130 weighs in at 1650 grams, while the women’s Luv 110 comes in at a cool 1560 grams. Yeah, that’s pretty light.

Welcome to the new age of K2 Ski Boots. They’re not here to mess around. Even fifty years deep, they’re still doing what they do best: crafting products that exist on their own plane, products driven by instinct and a love of skiing. Buckle up; it’s gonna be a wild one.
