Why I should be the 2009 Lange Girl

Why I should be the 2009 Lange Girl

Skiing has been an essential part of my still very young life. I was born in Kopavogur, Iceland but moved to Montreal, CA as a young child where my parents would take me up to Tremblant until we moved once again, settling in Burlington, VT. I have been skiing since I was around two years old and almost 20 years later, I still am. I am currently a marketing major at the University of Vermont where I am currently a senior, and I love it because I can balance school and skiing perfectly. My home mountain is Stowe but on any powder day you will find me shredding Jay Peak! I will go out on the coldest day and have no problems trying to keep up with the boys! I think my favorite things to do is cut my own trail and get the freshest tracks that I possibly can, but I also have a tiny rep for being a bit of a park rat, but I am still working on my jump work. Living in the area that I do, I have been able to attend tons of skiing related events such as rail jams or the Dew Tour at Mt. Snow. I think I would be the perfect Lange girl because I have such a strong love and devotion to all aspects of the sport and my favorite days are those when its freezing cold but the snow is just calling your name to go out and shred!
