Whistler On Pace to Smash November Snowfall Record

Whistler On Pace to Smash November Snowfall Record

Whistler’s mountain ops crews are out in full force, opening up more lifts and terrain this week thanks to a massive storm system that has blanketed the mountains with over 80 inches of snow in the past week.

With 12 days left in November, Whistler is already only 21 inches away from breaking the record for snowfall for the month. Whistler averages 58 inches in November, but has received over 143 inches already this month.

With all this new snow, the resort is hard at work prepping Creekside Gondola and Garbanzo Express, in anticipation of what should be another amazing weekend.

On Saturday, in addition to the Whistler Village Gondola, guests will be able to upload and download Whistler Mountain via the Creekside Gondola with access to Red Chair, Emerald Express, Franz’s and Garbanzo Chair.

Vital Stats:
11 inches in past 24 hours
76 inch base
143 inches total snowfall
