The King of Style big air contest is underway in Stockholm, Sweden. 28 skiers were invited to compete for a piece of the $20,000 prize purse. Today, seven skiers advanced through the qualification round to tomorrow's final. Those seven riders will join Bobby Brown, Jacob Wester, Jon Olsson, Elias Ambühl and Jossi Wells, who were pre-qualified.
The format for finals is as follows: "The twelve skiers in the finals all jump three times. The two different best jumps count. After two jumps the start order is changed—the one with lesser score jumps first."
The final at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium takes place tomorrow, Saturday, at 4:30pm Swedish time (8:30am MT/10:30am EST), and you can watch a live broadcast of the event by clicking here.
