We know you want to be in Hood this summer. Who doesn’t? But whether or not you were fortunate enough to have the dough to be there all summer, or were pining away in your hot-ass bedroom reading old copies of Freeskier, Dakine, Windells and Freeskier are offering you the opportunity to at least look the part of a seasoned summer camper.

Here’s how: Simply write send us a 150-word paragraph about your favorite Dakine athlete and why you think they’re rad. The two winners will have their essays published on Freeskier.com and receive a Dakine/Windells backpack.

Entries are due by July 31st, so if you’re keen to get a little Dakine love in your life, send your entries to [email protected] and she and Scotty “The Body” Connerly, the Assistant Dakine Snow Team Manager, will review entries and choose the winners who will be announced no later than August 10th.
