Wallisch, Wise, Turski and Sigourney take top honors at US Freeskiing Grand Prix

Last weekend, slopestyle superhuman Tom Wallisch took his fourth win of the season, topping a stacked field at the platinum level US Grand Prix at Mammoth Mountain, CA.
"I couldn't have asked for a better day today, the course was smooth and the snow was soft, not to mention the park was sweet," said Tom after his win.

On the ladies slopestyle side, Kaya Turski continued her season-long domination, taking her fourth straight first place finish. "I'm just trying to keep it clean and solid and work on some new tricks and Devin and Anna, a lot of girls really, are stepping it up, it's really cool to come out on top," she said.

David Wise took the crown for men's slopestyle, winning his third pipe contest in a row. David said this of his win: "I am stoked to be able to come out here and do what I enjoy doing in front of the cameras and people. That's why we do what we do, I feel very lucky and blessed to be out here." While Wise's run was the best on the day top to bottom (and he went huge), Torin Yater-Wallace stole some of the thunder, stomping the first ever double cork 1440 in competition.

Meanwhile, Brita Sigourney came out on top for the women, placing her on major podiums for the fourth time this season. "It's always a relief to land your first run, I'm never that solid on my first run because I'm so jittery, but it's still a relief," she said. "So the next run you can work on cleaning up your tricks and that's exactly what I did, so I couldn't be happier. I went big on my final hit [900] because I just don't think I am going to make it around unless I go big!"
