Skier of the Year voting has now closed. Sixteen competitors, four rounds, and tens of thousands of votes later, it all came down to Sammy Carlson vs. Tom Wallisch. Wallisch’s camp had three film segments, two Dew Tour podiums and an X Games medal. Carlson was backed with two film segments, two Dew Tour podiums and an X Games medal. Who has won it all? Who garnered more votes? Who will be Freeskier’s Skier of the Year?
Well, you’ll have to wait. At least until our February issue hits the newsstands on January 11, 2011. Rather than spill the beans online, we’ll be dedicating pages in our last issue of the year to the winner that you guys voted for.
