The big air event provided plenty of excitement at X Games Oslo 2016. The 150-foot-tall scaffolding setup not only provided the athletes with exquisite views of the city of Oslo, but also served as the perfect jump for the slew of competitors to throw down on amidst the Norwegian crowd.
While Swede Henrik Harlaut reigned supreme for the men, Norway’s own Tiril Sjåstad Christiansen took the win for the ladies. Joining Harlaut on the men’s podium was Swiss skier and X Games Aspen champion Fabian Bösch (silver) and American Gus Kenworthy (bronze). For the women, the silver medal position belonged to Norwegian Johanne Killi, and Swede Emma Dahlström claimed the bronze medal.
Below, you’ll find all of the highlights from the event, including video footage from the top runs, as well as the official results from each contest. Enjoy, and congratulations to each of the athletes.
