Video Qualifying for King Of Style

Stockholm, Sweden – 2008 – Peak Performance is the organizer behind the big air competition, Peak Performance King of Style, to be held at the Stockholm Stadion arena on 22nd November. The best skiers in the world will be coming to Stockholm to take part. And to raise the temperature even further ahead of this year’s competition, Peak Performance is introducing YouTube-based video qualification for the final two places.

Peak Performance King of Style is a big air skiing competition. Most of the world’s elite will be present when this year’s competition is held at the Stockholm Stadion arena. New for this year is a video qualifying section that offers a fantastic opportunity for unknown skiers to compete for the final two places in the starting field. Viewers will be able to rate the entries on YouTube and then a jury, made up of the 2008 freeride world champion, Henrik Windstedt, and the 2007 King of Style winner, Richard Permin, will select the best two video entries from the 25 that receive the most votes from viewers.

“Entering and competing for the final two qualifying places is very easy. Simply post a maximum 60 seconds long video of yourself on YouTube and then apply by sending us a link, containing the video. I’m delighted that non-established skiers will get this chance to compete against the very best in the world,” says Anders Norin, Sponsorship Consultant at Peak Performance.

Swede, Jakob Wester, who recently won a major competition in Switzerland, and Richard Permin from France, are just some of the already confirmed entrants to Peak Performance King of Style.
