REDONDO BEACH, California (August 24, 2009) – Poor Boyz Productions and Nimbus Independent are proud to announce the launch of a new event series deemed the “Triple Threat Tour.” The Triple Threat Tour is a newly branded event that will encompass three parts: a photo/art exhibit, viewings of the 2009 films “Contrast” and “Everyday Is A Saturday,” and an after party. The tour kicks off in Seattle on September 12th with the World Premiere being held at the King Cat Theatre. The photo/art exhibit will feature photography from industry-leading photographers who were on site for the filming of Contrast and Everyday Is A Saturday. The exhibited artwork will be from ski industry athletes and artists alike. This art and photography collection will include a silent auction with proceeds going to Alpine Initiatives and to aid in the recovery of Riley Poor.

This year, Nimbus will showcase their second motion picture film, “Contrast,” which takes a unique look at the sport of skiing while examining the difference between objects, people, concepts, color, light, and the skiing of Pep Fujas, Eric Pollard, Chris Bencethler, Blake Nyman, and Andy Mahre. Watch and listen as the Nimbus crew takes you through the different thematic elements that set the framework for their skiing lifestyle.

PBP will present their feature film release of “Everyday Is A Saturday,” where every day beings with a process. Whether it’s waiting for that bluebird day to come or countless training sessions before a competition, any skier knows that feeling: to work hard, play hard, and share epic days of skiing with their crew.
