When SuperUnknown goes out of style, we’ll pack up shop and head for greener pastures. But until that day comes, we’ll be reveling in its greatness every year. This April, the crew at Level 1 made the move to bring SuperUnknown 22 to Palisades Tahoe. The spring skiing mecca sculpted a private build in the Gold Coast Park area, with massive rail and jump features that toe the line between inspirational and terrifying. But for these skiers, it was nothing but good times.
Of course, SuperUnknown isn’t just about the skiing. It’s a gathering of filmers and photographers all working in tandem to share the event with the world. Palisades Tahoe’s Blake Kessler was on the ground during the event, and with sunny skies and slushy snow painting the perfect backdrop, Kessler pointed his lens towards the madness on hill.
Here are a few of our favorite shots from a picturesque week at Level 1 SuperUnknown 22.
