There’s a couple of newly crowned champs in Jackson. Tim McChesney and Ana Eyssimont have been crowned as the new King and Queen of Corbet’s after both absolutely throwing down in the iconic couloir last week.

With bragging rights and prize money on the line, we had been anxiously awaiting the announcement of the rider-voted winners after last Tuesday’s competition. Competitors met this weekend to cast their say as to who put down the best line. Both McChesney and Eyssimont were able to take home first place in the Ski Men’s and Women’s fields, respectively, earning them $5,000. They also were awarded an additional bonus of $5,000 after being named the overall King and Queens.

Not only did these two beat out their fellow skiers, but they also had to score higher than any snowboarder to take home this award. McChesney was the first to drop in during the competition last week, opening up the event with an electrifying run and dropping two dub 10s for the crowd. Eyssimont took her time in the couloir to heart, stomping a huge air with maximum control and putting down a gigantic backflip off a natural feature in the course.

First place was awarded $5,000, with second taking home $3,000 and third earning $2,000.
