More club field action from New Zealand.
Temple Basin this time near Authers Pass, home of Tod Windel. Another definite must for any back country / alpine skiers. More alpine terrain than the rest of the places we visited. The comp had to be moved to a smaller section of the area due to the real icy and hard conditions from previous rain and wind cycles. Take offs where blue ice, but the landing where good and stompable. Lucky it also warmed up and the afternoons to make the conditions a bit softer. Lorraine Huber took first in the ladies and Roy Schott took first in the mens. I moved up to 5th, so happy again. Enjoy the footage.
