The US legend and X-games Gold Medalist, Tanner Hall is on board the international POC team. We are hoping that the 25-year-old US free skier from Montana will be crucial contributor to POC and our bid in free skiing market. “It’s just crazy what the kids out there are capable of doing. On the other hand risks are increasing and with a role model like Tanner, we hope to inspire more people to use adequate protection and foremost helmets, besides the professional dialogue together with him, on developing even better products”. Says Stefan Ytterborn CEO POC “I love the style and the fit on this helmet. I am going to go bigger in the final!” – Tanner Hall
We recently caught up with Tanner and asked a few quick questions to see what he’s up to right now as the 2008 season rolls on, and here is what he threw our way.
Q: What up coming competitions or filming events are you doing?
A: Well I’m done with pipe comps for the year I feel I accomplished what I set out to do with contests so now I’m on the crazy filming mission and the big heli trips we have planned is the one in Terrace B.C. and then up to Haines Alaska. I feel like I’m ready to step into some giant lines and shred super hard so I’m super stoked!!
Q: How do you focus your training for a competition, or get ready for a film shoot?
A: I just set a goal for myself and then do everything possible to accomplish it weather it’s a comp day or a training day I like to push myself to the limit.
Q: What tunes are you jamming to when you ride these days? Who are your favorite bands?
A: Well I have been listening a lot to Cali P lately he has an album coming out on the 2nd of May called the Lyrical Fyah and I have all the songs on it right now I haven’t heard a better album in my whole life every song is a BANGER!! Then a lot to Movado and Busy Signal and of course THE KING SIZZLA KALONJI.
