Tahoe’s Lange Girl

Tahoe’s Lange Girl

I am a Lange Girl-equal skier and ski town partier!

Born in Massachusetts in the middle of a blizzard, I have always been a child of winter. With parents as ski fanatics I was on skis at two, having first tracks at Deer Valley on a ski vacation. I grew up spending every winter weekend at our ski house in New Hampshire, where I skied and raced at Attitash. Even making my own ski movies, with my dad as the director, and I of course as the host and star. Racing was my favorite sport growing up, eventually becoming fourth in the nation for a season when I was six. I then moved to Park City to ski, then to outside of Las Vegas in Boulder City, where I could ski weekends in Brian Head, and spend a lot of time in Southern Utah as well as mountain bike and wake board. For college, I went to University of Nevada, Reno where I was able to ski all throughout the Sierras, and graduate with two degrees. My life has now taken me to North Shore Lake Tahoe, where I live and work in Marketing and also as a Snow Reporter for Alpine Meadows. As John Muir says “Going to the mountains is going home.” It has never been truer!

I am also no stranger to ski towns have a great love for them-having lived, skied or just partied in many: Park City, Vail, Jackson, Mammoth, Breck, and more. I love the feel of them, am now living in one and near many-I love it! You can’t beat a good beer and a great game of shuffleboard at Pete and Peter’s in Tahoe City after a bluebird pow day!

I am the girl to represent the area both on the hill and off the hill! Vote for me!
