Lake Tahoe, CA – Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Kirkwood Mountain Resort announced a new partnership today by launching 2011/2012 season passes which access both mountains. Additionally, pass holders can access Homewood Mountain Resort* at Lake Tahoe’s west shore, Red Lodge Mountain Resort (Red Lodge, Montana), and Durango Mountain Resort (Durango, Colorado).
Alpine Meadows Unfiltered and Kirkwood Premium** 2011/2012 season pass holders now have access to more than 9,000 acres of terrain, more than 9,900 feet of vertical descent, and 386 designated trails.
“The new partnership is the ultimate way for avid skiers and riders to access the best of both the north and south shores of Lake Tahoe,” said Deanna Gescheider, regional vice president of marketing and sales for Alpine Meadows. “The added value of access to five unique, world-class resorts is a phenomenal benefit to our guests,” she added.
