Arapahoe Basin announced Saturday, June 18th, that they would extend weekend skiing through July 4th. Ullr, the God of Winter, was very pleased with this news and he decided Monday should be a snow day! Arapahoe Basin’s unofficial picnic table snow report measured 6” new overnight and the snow continues to fall.

For those chomping at the bit to go skiing, A-Basin will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 24, 25, and 26; they will also be open July 1, 2, 3 and 4. The last time skiing and riding was offered on July 4th was in 1997.
