This is becoming a spring to remember. The press releases are flooding our inboxes here at Freeskier with new snow alerts and insane powder forecasts. Here are some of the highlights:
Jackson Hole Closes with Mega Dump
Jackson closed last weekend, but the mountain went out with a bang. Around 40 inches of snow fell in the last week, ‘causing the “best conditions of the season,” according to locals. Here’s a video by local shred star Andrew Whiteford.

Seven feet in Seven days?
Both Tahoe and Snowbird reported receiving seven feet of snow in seven days. Think about that: SEVEN FEET. I bet you aren’t even that tall, unless you’re Yasutaka Okayama, in which case, my apologies. That must be awkward.
Snowbird just sent over these photos from today, April 7, 3:30 p.m. MST. Jealousy rising. (photos: Matt Crawley)

Powder Alert at Vail: 19″ since yesterday?
Twitter has been blowing up this morning with reports of epicness at Vail. If you’re in Vail right now, we hate you, but it’s only because we wish we were you. Here’s a photo from @sallyfrancklyn:
