Snowmaking Update – Great Progress Despite Warm Temps

Opening day isn’t far off and we are just as anxious as you are. Mother Nature threw us a curve ball this week as temperatures rose too high to make snow. Progress thus far has gone really well, and with just a couple more cold days we should be ready to open. As always, quality comes first and foremost, so you know on our opening day you will find top to bottom, side-to-side coverage with at least an 18-inch base on our 1000 vertical foot run. Leave the rock skis at home!

,you’ll be surprised at how much snow we have and how little we have left to do. We pride ourselves on the quality of our opening day snow, and our crew is working their hardest to ensure our product is exactly what you have come to expect from Loveland Ski Area. Cross those fingers for colder weather and get ready for an opening day announcement soon. In the meantime you can
