Ski Dazzle LA Wrap Up

Ski Dazzle LA Wrap Up

Freeskier Magazine is still in sunny Southern California trying to shake off the hangover after an incredible weekend at the LA Ski Dazzle. Rail Jams, movie premiers, massive gear sales, ski resort booth parties and late night after parties were the elements for the kick ass show in the LA Convention Center. If you live in LA and you didn’t hit up the show, you really did miss out. Free lift tickets to Bear/Snow Summit were being given away like candy on Halloween.

And as it worked out, it was Halloween, which would explain the over abundance of scantily clad women cruising around the show. These ladies from Bitch Snowboards (I know, but they are hot, so we had to put them on this post) were some of our favorite.

The rail jam went off, thanks in huge part to Tim Windell from Windells Camps. He was gracious enough to give the winner of the rail jam a spot in his camp next summer. Here’s a pic of Tim with the winner of the event.

The rail jam brought out kids from not only So Cal, we had our boy Blake here make the trek (thanks to his family) all the way from AZ. Blake killed it, and took home one of the highly coveted Freeskier hoodies.

Digi Dave himself got on the features and was bangin as hard as an online editor can. Ha ha ha, I wonder if Digi is going to edit this post and let that one fly. Whatever, this is a sweet pic nevertheless.

And outside of the rail jam, people were out in force to pick up gear at incredible discounts, watch the premier of Refresh, party in the ski resort booths and maybe have a beer or 4. Mammoth brought FREE beer to the party, making them our personal favorite. But we are easy like that.

And that’s a wrap from LA. Time to head home, unpack, repack and head off to The Chicago Ski Dazzle for the next stop of the show series. We will be there on November 6, 7 and 8 – doing it all again. Come by and we will hook you up with a $3 sub to the magazine, just for coming to the show.
