As seen in the 2011 FREESKIER Buyer's Guide: Shoreline of Tahoe has been stoking out Tahoe locals for over 25 years. That means it’s early days date back to the early 1980s. The history goes as follows… the owner was a Hart Ski rep (again, early 1980s) and saw the need for a more customer service oriented shop in Tahoe. Fast-forward to present day, and Shoreline continues to set the customer service bar in the region. They focus on the needs of the customer in a very “pressure-free” environment.
On the product side, they've got an extensive demo fleet that affords the staff every opportunity to ski everything they sell. The shop crew formulates their own opinions about the products specific to the snow and terrain that Tahoe is famous for.
Shoreline also supports some of South Shore's finest skiers including Doug Carr, Sho Kashima and Jay Panther. They support the community by sponsoring most of the local rail jams and are always giving charitable raffles and fundraisers.
And the owner, he’s still in the shop most of the days. Twenty-five years later he’s still living the Tahoe dream and has the same goal; to help people get outside and enjoy everyday to the fullest.
