Yesterday evening, following day two of Freeskier’s 2015 all-mountain ski test on Aspen Mountain, team Freeskier, along with our raucous group of ski testers, skiing brands reps and other friends, congregated at the Aspen Brewing Company to kick off the first-ever Freeskier flip cup tournament. Droves of partiers downed delicious Aspen Brewing Co. beers on the outside patio overlooking downtown Aspen, and after two hours of heated match-ups, trash talk, middle fingers, tears and joyous celebrations, it was Team Redemption defeating Freeskier’s edit staff, taking home top honors on the day—the win ensures them a spot in Friday’s “super final.”

If you happen to be around Aspen this week, grab three friends, form a team and join us on Wednesday, March 5, for round two of Freeskier’s flip cup tournament at the Red Onion from 4 – 6 p.m. Can’t make it Wednesday? Free up your schedule on Friday, March 7 between 4 – 6 p.m. and head to Sky Hotel/39 Degrees, where the action is sure to be off the wall: flip cup, hot tub, pool, bar, music, neon one pieces, ladies in bikinis, etc. The winning teams from Monday and Wednesday will join the top two teams from Friday’s contest in the aforementioned super final.
