Scott USA hits up Aspen for The Meeting

Scott USA hits Aspen for The Meeting…

The Scott sportsmobile pulled out of Ketchum last week and headed to Aspen for the weekend. Gabe Glosband and Kevin Kruse were on board and enroute. We met up in Salt Lake with team member Tim Russell, and the infamous former team manager Jonny A. After a quick pit stop to ride in Fruita, and some van troubles outside of Glenwood Springs, the crew rolled into Aspen for The Meeting.

The Meeting is a snowsports industry gathering which celebrates the season being right around the corner. The purpose is to discuss the industry today, and to showcase 12 ski and snowboard flicks from some of your favorite production companies. The Meeting brings industry folk, and athletes from all over the globe to Aspen. Movies, movies, meetings, and more movies were shown.

Highlights would include the following…

TGR’s movie “Lost and Found” was a hit!, featuring SCOTT athletes Erik Roner, Chris Collins, Shroder Baker, Alex Schlopy, and the jaw dropping lines of Jeremy Jones.

Standard Films, “Catch the Vapors” also had more amazing lines by Jones.

Tim Russell, Matt Walker, and John Symms all lit it up in Poorboyz Productions, “Yeah Dude.”

Rage Films latest offering, “Enjoy” featured Tim Russell, Ashley Battersby, and Laura Ogden.

Red Bull USA’s Kart Racing track was pretty much the coolest thing going…

Other Scott athletes in town included Henrik “Rockstar” Lampert, and Whitney Wickes. Henrik signed on for another year, and Dub Wickes is healthy and back for more, feeling stronger than ever!

We would like to thank Aspen/Snowmass for putting on another great event, Erin Hokkanen @ The Sky Hotel, and Dave Kruse for lending us a hand and a truck…
