Micro Grid Backer:
The fabric that Oakley chose for the Beltline Pro Jacket and Pant was a 100% Gore-Tex Pro with the Micro Grid Backer. The Micro Grid backer allows the jacket or pant to slide easily over mid-layers preventing layers from bunching up and restricting full range of motion.
Abrasion Resistant Fabric:
After testing the Beltline Pro jacket and pant, we noticed areas that needed to be reinforced due to heavy wear. We added a more durable abrasion resistant fabric in key areas to improve the lifespan of the jackets and pants.
Waterproofing/Breathability:
All Gore-Tex fabrics have outstanding waterproofing to prevent outside moisture from entering inside the jacket or pant. The high rate of breathability also allows the fabric to wick moisture away from your body and escape through the fabric.
